Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Supercharger for USDM 92-95 H22a1

    Hi guys,
Anyone know where i can get a supercharger for USDM 92-95 H22a1??

    #2
The supercharger for 97+ prelude will fit the engine but it will not fit in the car if you have a 92-95 prelude or 90-93 accord. I don't think it will fit in 94-97 accords either but not sure.

There's not enough clearance in the engine bay for it to fit.
    HTH.

I think that I briefly looked over the thread you are talking about! I think somebody said a centrifical one would fit if you custom made the bracket... I think! Don't quote me on that...

i found this in a thread i made a little while ago (lamsz)-Something like a Vortech, or Paxton would work, which are centrifigul. Just think of a centrifical as an accessory like an alternator. You can mount it inline with the accessory belt. You could mount it anywhere. Just make your self a bracket. I'm actually surprised that there isn't at least one Accord, as all that is really required is a custom bracket, different accessory belt, and some plumbing...................................this is prob wat ur talking about....i was talking about a differnt thread but this one basicaly proves it too

a vortech would work but there is not a direct fit vortech kit for h22 that I know of. but a civic or integra one could be altered to work. But the cost of the supercharger and cost of fabrication to make it fit would get you a good turbo kit. Or get you a DSM setup 16g setup and have money left to build the engine.

                          vortech is expensive

I did know a guy a while back that was working on a procharger setup for h22 but I haven't kept up with it.

The whole reason we want a supercharger is because not everyone has one, and because we don't want to do a turbo setup... The money it would cost to build an H22 for turbo would not be less then a supercharger... The H22a compression is 10.6:1..... That means we would have to buy low compression pistons, and for that we would have to sleeve the block which costs about $1,100 to do right...
