Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I have the copper gaskets already, I think my leak is either from stretch headbolts, or a warped head. When I first finished putting the motor together I didn't have this problem, so it's not from the gasket. I'm going to pull it and check the straightness, and install ARP head studs. That's what I get for rushing to get the car running and using the stock radiator for dyno tuning... A lot of people have issues with the map sensor when converting from 1.11-1.19 you need to re-establish it or it will use TPS as load. That's what would cause the problem you described above.

at the time i downloaded it the ems forum was down... yeah, i heard of lots having problems with that...
make sure you tighten down the studs themselves very well to make sure they are completely bottomed out... I went over mine multiple times and 1 actually turned more... I think it was the larger center one...

Scroll down and read what is says about oil pumps. Just some food for thought.

Friend of mine linked me to this (thanks Mike).

UR sells only 2 versions of their crank pullies for the 90-93 Accords (i.e. Tuner S and Ultra S).

Tuner S is about 2 lbs.

          Ultra S is about 1lb.

They also said the Tuner S is about 70% of the performance of the Ultra S when it comes to power gains.

The stock crank pulley is about 5.5 - 6.5 lbs, so there are the differences.

Very interesting... good find. I like how they comment on people thinking logically before they instantly blame all their problems on the pulley. It's like pulleys are the scapegoat for everyones problems now.

lol people can't own up to their own mistakes so the parts are the first to blame! i'll admit i have done that once or twice. yea if u read the UR site and a few other underdrive pulley articles.....it totaly pwns those that say the underdrive pullies cause damage. lol lmao and and and that ridiculous site that has a "test regarding the vibrations from the pulley" is sooo stupid.....the experiment was soooo severely flawed i almost shit myself. ugh sad very sad.

Well boys, we lost a good deal with www.dh-racing.com in having chance to get $125 crank pulley that like weighs 6oz from Dave. He's not selling them anymore because of all the comments like this he's had to deal with. This is a helluva deal compared to UR products.

My friends have UD pulleys and ther cars are fine so far havent heard bout oil pumps goin to shit yet. I recommend not buying Ebay UD pulleys (Bomz) since i had one on my car before. They work well but when you try to take them off it takes forever which is why i went back to OEM.
