Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

By the way, exactly what is the diff between a1, a4 and a6... as far as I know difference between a1 and a4 is only ecu, tb, and exhuast manifold and that the a6 only has a lil larger diameter exhaust manifold. I've also heard an unconfirmed rumor that a6's had a lil bit different cam too. Is my knowledge on this correct???-1991 Accord DX-

i think its the f22a1 with less HP and torque than the a4.
i think f22a1 has 125 hp or less and 130 torque..
i think f22a4 has 130 hp and 142 torque....fizz pointed it out in a thread to me one time...
i have the f22a4..What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

yea, the engine specs you mentioned about sound right, an the f22a6 is 140 hp, 142 lb-ft torq.
However, the diff between f22a1 and f22a4 is 5 hp, so I'm guessing it's just the exhaust header design that's diff??
then I think u guyz said the diff between f22a4 and f22a6 is the intake manifold design.
this correct? always wondered. I have two accords one with f22a4 & f22a6

Here's the differences
F22A1 - exhaust manifold is 4-1 and all jumbled together with small pipe
F22A4- a 4-2-1 manifold design which frees up the extra 5 hp
F22A6- Same 4-2-1 exhaust manifold (may have slight differences but bolt up exactly the same), but includes a nicer intake manifold which has a secondary set of butterfly valves that allow more air to be ingested and priduce higher gains. Also in the intake filter box, there's a little flap that opens and allows more air in under certain conditions. If you install an intake, you bypass that, but for a stock air box, it will help produce gains. Between those is where the extra 10 hp comes in.
