Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Be warned. I know a kid that obtained a KMS valvetrain for his F22ax turbo setup and it did not fit. He went back and forth with them on trying to get it fixed and ended up giving up. He settled for a new OEM F22a6 valvetrain as a temporary setup. He in fact PMed me regarding what valvetrain upgrade I went with and who I got it from, if that tells you something.

THANK YOU!!! All this talk about how limited it is, how it won't be much stronger than a lightly modded H. How its not gonna be this and never gonna be that. You can't speculate at all cause we don't know of one thats even existed for these ppl to say anything about it. Don't have strong opinions on things you know nothing about.

This isn't well known but PrimoCB7 had a built a6 at one point, he just never got a chance to dyno it b4 he hydrolocked it. Theres also a guy around the accord forums that has a built f22 but dropped a valve retainer. Last i checked he was still going through with the project the motor was getting put in a civic chassis.

Speculate all you want but your points are null till you can talk about a real motor that actually exists.

Now that you mention it, I do remember Francis and his F22a6 build way back when. That's too bad he didn't get any dyno numbers, I forget the exact mods he had though.

Also, that person with dropped retainer is on HS and AD forums. I know who are you talking about. He had a JG retainer fracture on him causing him to drop a valve. He redid the head and like you said, it's going into a Civic of some kind. Anyhow, he had plans for 200 shot on that F22 motor build, but did have quite an allmotor aspect to it too. Last I saw, was he got to 120 shot before the problem occured.

Anyhow, glad to see someone gets the point. Alot of people ask me..."what numbers you plan on getting on your F22 allmotor builds??" How can I accurately respond when there is not much of a basis to go on? Therefore, I don't lie or make up numbers but tell them whatever it gives me it gives me. I only hope to take on H22 swapped Accords AT LEAST!!

find some all-motor d-series setups with around the same compression your going for and you'll find about the least amount of hp you can look forward to.

                  hahaha tru...they're like 1.6L vs 2.2L

                  Since I'm going 86mm bore that's 2207cc vs stock F22 85mm bore 2156cc...eh, not much of a difference.

just keep the compression well into the 11's, 12's if your gutsy and you'll make great DD power.
