Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    scraping the apexi ws2

how often do you apexi ws2 owners scrape, i scrape atleast once every other week, do u think so many scrapes would cause a hole in it? cuz i'm starting to think i got an exhaust leak cuz everytime i punch it, u can smell exhaust fumes but i dunno if thats normal cuz this is the 1st time i'v had a exhaust system

its pretty thick piping to make a hole in just by hitting once in a while, its most likely a gasket or some other leak, get under the car and check.

      Everyone knows I hate mine.

But I scrape everywhere, and I've got Progress Sport springs and struts. Something about the piping hangs to low and when I'm going fast it bottoms out over dips. So I scrape almost every day and also every time I leave my house. Every time. Seriously. Grr damnit.

All the time, i think when i get the time I may see if i can get new rubber hangers to hold it closer to the body of the car... any time i have ppl in the car it gets sooo annoying. Oh well I like the exhaust tho

sorta half on topic, it's about the ws2....i was looking into this cat back system, because it's not supposed to be loud and ricy, but then i noticed that not all of it is made out of stainless steel. only the back part, and the rest of the piping is powdercoated...see, i have nasty winters up here, and it'll still rust from the inside out from condensation. why couldn't they just go stainless, it wouldn't cost much more. anyone have any rusting issues? although it's probably still too soon to know....

i am otherwise just gonna have to dish out a bit more for a tanabe smh catback. my friend has one, sounds nice.
