Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    exhaust help

ok, i'm looking to find an exhaust. is there really much of a difference between obx, apexi ws, and ractive exhaust systems? i dont wanna pay 500 for the world sport unless its really a huge difference when i can get an obx for 200.

The obx i going to give you that Very loud and annoying weedwacker sound. Obx sucks, poor quality and construction, Go for the Thermal research and development

ricey sound and look? how about not. Ihave the ractive fireball catback and its not too ricey i just hate the looks of it. I was going to get that exahust but i didnt have the 30$ extra so i couldnt get it also that exahust is more of a deeper tone. So stop the hating! jesus

I'm not hating either, but i just knoe for a fact that besides the nasty look and sound of those cheap exhausts, you don't gain much from them. With a thermal, or apexi you are going to see test proven results with a sound and look you will love

If your doing a little fact finding, check into Magnaflow, thats what im running, deep tone,, good midrange torque, and its only loud when you get on it or when you take off from stop, you can feel it.....
I got catback for around $350-400 installed...I'm putting duals on my '04 v6 accord soon. Me likes the flow...........

holy fuck thats such a nice exhaust, i love the dual tip style exhaust, i got a dtm muffler on right now, and i like usc's remus exhaust, but thats real nice if i had phat dough id buy it but i got short money at tha tyme so i cant. ive never seen a DTM style cat back exhaust for an accord, i no DC sports make one but i dunno if its for our cars....

The name of that exhaust is "thermal research and development classic system" Here is a link to thermal's website, to purchase this exhaust you will have to go through one of these two places, unless you can find another place that carries thermal exhausts.
