Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

how many PSi of gas should i run?

i was wondering, how many PSI of gas should i run on my accord? i just installed my AEM fuel regulator and AEM fuel rail. my mods are,
    -DC Sports header
    -11mm racing wires
    -magnaflow high flow cat
    -AEM pulleys
    -AEM fuel regulator
    -AEM fuel rail
-DC sports intake and thats about it, i guess. i was just wondering how many PSI would be good to race, without pushing my engine too much, and how many PSI should i run when its a daily driver. thanks, hopefully i hear some answers.

36-43psi is the stock fuel pressure range. i wouldn't go more than 5 psi considering all you have are bolt-on mods.

Dyno would be the best way to tell, or an A/F gauge.

            some info for ya

on 1990 models with vaccum hose attached it is35-37 psi--disconnected its 35-41. on the 1991 models with the hose attached it 30-38 psi--disconnected its 40-47. sorry to say it doesnt list 92-93 models under specs at begining of chapter 4 of helms. plus if you have not upgraded your fuel delivery ie fuel pump or injectors..if you run to high psi youll burn out your fuel pump or the pintles in your injectors.

I wouldn't increase the PSI of my fuel that much. For sake of doing more harm than good. However, that's just my two cents.
