Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    zeitronix wide band

hey guys, i know some of u on here know what it is, and may even have it...and i need some help on hooking it up~
i have just put a turbo on my newly built engine and i am going to get ready to tune it once i fill it with some premium gasoline, so i took it out of the box tonight and hooked it up (grounded and had a power supply, although it was from the alternator bc i didnt have an accesable 12v source in the car), i changed the comm port from 1-8 and nothing, waited 30 secs for teh sensor to warm and still nothing, it did start reading for like 10 secs, and then when i clicked on the 'new plot' button, it stopped reading completely~

so i need some help here, i need to know asap how to use this thing bc the instructions aint helping me too much here~ so someone please help a fellow cb7 out so i can post some sweet vids of my monster!

R33 i know you know how to use it, so please hit me up on here or AIM~ thanks bro

No he doesn't lol..or atleast i don't think he's ever had one. I think your confusing him with me but anyways. First connect the wiring harness to the ecu harness. Every i know did it that way so that'll eliminate some of the problem solving. Also Make sure the motor is on before you press the "enter" button to connect to the wideband.

haha apparently there are 2 of em! Hey no worries, havent had a chance to check the wiring, but on another site i read that if the fuse is still good in it, the brown and yellow wire should have 5v going through it, and it does, so i will try hooking it up with the diagram you midnight posted and repost!
            thanks again guys!
