Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    what exhaust?

    Hey guys just wondering on opinions what exhaust sounds the best and performs the best.... sound quality i want something different that what i have now... i want it deep without raspy noises, like a mean sound.... right now i have crush 2.25 in piping, bored out cat, glasspack for resonator, and a magnaflow muffler and its more high pitch sound and raspy at top end..... let me know if you know of any company that can give what i want... and a sound clip if possible... thanks!

    what you need is a cat. you will always get some raspiness witout a cat, sometimes worse than others, depending on the muffler.

    i had an evo style muffler(3" in/4.5" tip) and it was real bad during idle rev, but driving it wasnt as bad, but still a little annoying. now i have a obx twinloop and it sounds alot better revving, and i think it sounds great while driving. there is still a slight raspiness, but i got used to it, and i kinda like it. adds a little character, kind of like a subtle way of letting others know my shit isnt stock.

            dude, i got a guy to build one custom for me, 2.5'' all the way with hi flow cat and header, sounds and performs great! think about it and it will have u some money.

              The magnaflow site doesn't have sounds for our car, that I could find. I'm really curious to hear a magnaflow, and a greddy sp2. hmmm. WS2 sounds very good, too bad the resonator is so low. That worries me.
