Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Anyone running an H22 trans w/ a F22a motor??

I understand the h22 trans has shorter gearing than an f22 or h23 trans. Would an H22 trans bolt up to an F22a1 motor?

And if anyone has done this, is the car still practical to be a daily driver? What are your rpms when cruising around 60mph?

I'm not sure but, I bought an H22/LSD transmission and I know it bolts up, I'm just wondering how much "quicker" my car will be once it's in. I guess i'll have to take it to the track to get a good idea. No-body has done the butt-dyno with a h22(trans)/f22a1 set-up?

well since accord trannies fit in H-series blocks then yes it works vice versa. the gearing is shorter indeed. i believe at around 60mph the tach reads at around 3.5k rpm. that's pretty high for an F-series motor in my opinion. gas-mileage will suffer.

as for power laguna7, it will remain the same. acceleration will just increase due to the short gearing .

It'll feel marginally faster, but in reality prob. won't gain you much more than .02 sec off your 1/4 time, if that...
