Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

AEM Short ram install questions, with pics

Hey guys, I am kinda confused, I have a 1993 honda accord dx and I want to add a short ram to it, I understand how to remove the old air intake, and the box, but I am confused on what to do with the hose connected to the top of the stock intake,

here is a picture of that:

here is another shot of it:

    Does it go here?

And what are these, I labled them A B and C? do they go in the above hole to connect the hose? Do I need all of them?

Thanks a bunch for the help!

I believe you take B, insert it into the pipe, lock it down with A, and throw out C (it's a cap that you don't need cause you're gonna use that hole)

Ok, the "what is this line?" is what I like to call the "up" valve it needs to be filtered but is ok to vent(suck) open atmosphere! Did you already put that rubber plug on the the vaccuum just behind the throttle body, because I had to on my AEM CAI, also it seems that the kit provides an rubber grommet and a plastic connector, put the grommet ("A") in the hole "what goes here" inside that put in plastic connector ("B") then put the "what is this line" onto the end of the connector! Seems you may already have a rubber plug so just hold on to the other ("C") for safe keeping!

      WaC!

odd, i uncapped that port and my car ran better as opposed to having it blocked off.

my car would surge and almost die when it would be capped off.

also does anyone know where the support bracket is supposed to mount to? mine just hangs in the middle of nowhere.
        I <3 G60.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

you mean the support bracket that bolts to the place the stock intake bolted to near the top of the PS strut?...
