well ive decided to get a new muffler. im keeping my 2.5" piping all the way back, just putting a different muffler on it to keep out of trouble. i got popped once for a modified exhaust, and i wasnt revving, it just "looks" modified... so im going with something less obvious.


mugen style twin loop OBX baby!!!

im gonna paint everything but the tip flat black. the muffler is 2.5" in/3" out. i have obx now, and it sounds fine to me, so im not worried about that, just dont wanna attract any visual attention from the cops.

looks good..i actually wanted to buy a real mugen muffler and do the same...mod it to custom piping..but $$$ didnt like that idea. looks good man. hows the car running...hahaha i ended up buying the pistons off my friend...so well see how the OS vs. stock turns out..

So it's not that loud?...looks like it kinda would be. Painting it flat black is smart. That just gave me an idea when I get my exhaust.

good luck with them pistons... i got a standard set instead.

im not too sure how loud this one will be, but it cant be any louder than what i have now. my current muffler is straight-thru 3" in/out w/4.5" tip. but ill be sure to post a clip after its on.

I saw that on Ebay...I think I'm gonna go with the Apexi WS style or the plain dual tip...soon. Get some sound clips when it goes on though...

i was lookin around on ht and i found a guy(EVIL Hx Coupe) who got one and did a mini review. said its alot quieter. just a little louder than stock, just like how the genuine article is.

Hey guys. My first post on here. Great site. I'm in oz and have a 92 jdm accord with a h22a conversion.

The car came with this huge blitz muffler so I got one of these twinloops installed. Pretty sure its basically the same branded as xforce over here though. Looks exactly the same. It is attached to custom 2.5" piping and I love the sound. It's not quite as quiet as I had expected, but a hell of alot quieter than the previous one. Looks good too no huge tip to attract bad attention.

Will get some pics of it fitted tomorrow and try and get a recording if I can find something to do it with.

well ive got confirmation now... its fuckin great!!!!! looks hella simple and clean and sounds perfect. hardly any of that rattling/raspy shit from lack of a cat. the only problem that might be remedied, im not to worried about it right now. its sitting a little to the left becuase the muffler is overall pretty wide... cause of the loop, and if i push it over more right now, itll rub the heat shield. but other than that, a perfect muffler, imo. great job obx

so for all those that would rather spend another $500 to have the mugen name, go right ahead, but im completely happy with this one.
