Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Well he has to get it tuned and stuff first to make the most of it and get the feel of it. WEll all i have to say is its about time and dont get tempted to race everything you see. Traction issues are a bitch to me but all and all power is what ownes me.

Well i took it for about an hour drive and put it in first gear right at the last light before my house. As i take off I hear one of the most disturbing sound come from the hood. I totaly toasted my clutch into a million peices. The clutch totally seperated from its self. It was a oem exedy clutch and i neglected to replace it before I turboed.

So I am in the market for a new clutch and flywheel
            what do you guys think
Exedy 3 puck sprung clutch or
            XTD 6 pluck

And what flywheel should i use my stock one?

Turboing wasnt very hard but there are a lot of fitting isuess. It is a faster but harder to notice unless you look at the speedo.

I vote for a Centerforce clutch. They've always been my favorite. I'm getting the Centerforce II when I have the money. 60% more grip than stock. With your setup, you may want to look into either that, or the Centerforce Dual Friction, which has 90% more grip than stock

You can get a pretty good deal here:

damn that sucks man. at least it was the clutch which should be upgraded anyway, and not your ringlands or a snapped rod or something. hopefully you are back up and running soon!
