Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Yeah, I know.. it's not my intention to be an ass either. That would be awesome if you could see if he has those sleeves. It still costs a lot of money to have the block sleeved, but for 200 it would be worth it. I'm pretty sure the f22 can handle quite a bit of boost anyway because it has strong sleeves.

I do do all the work myself, or with my brother, so i can build it for under 2. I also know some people who know some people so i can get some parts and shit for realatively cheap. I almost bought some darton sleeves the other day for 200 shipped brand new, but i am going to use a sleeve stabalizer instead. So yes, i can build an entire engine for 2k.

i'd have to say that i have two very favorite mods, firstly my AEM brake pads, cuz i gottem pretty cheap, got them installed for 20 bucks, and well going fast is awesome but there is nothing like having the confidence of those pads to prevent me from dying so i give my pads a 7 because of price altogether. secondly would say that my fushigi RES short shifter earned a mid 9 on my scale, reasons being, fast easy service and shipping, cheapest shifter to my knowledge (DIY n/a), great staff that keeps you up informed, looks and feels sweet.

my best mod so far is the Suspension Techniques rear sway bar. I have an LX so i never had a rear sway in the first place. putting one on and having it be beefier than normal showed an enormous difference in handling and performance overall .

I have to agree, that's a great mod. Made a huge difference, even on my EX. More stable and firm on the HWY, and better cornering kicks ass. Combined with the strut tower bars, definately works nicely.

Probably a turbo or H22 crank+high comp rods...

But as far as what I've done so far, definitely the springs. I still wish my front end was lower (my drop actually looks a lot like VRDrvr's) but other than that it's changed my car's look. If I didn't break a lugnut stud on my front left wheel I'd be ripping shit up in the turns.

The intake is a pretty good mod too...I threw a filter on the end of my stock piping and it works; it's louder and maybe the tiniest little bit faster than stock.
