Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I assume you tried soaking it in a strong solvent / penetrating lubricant for a few days? Soaking it for a few days and then blasting it with some heat, and then finally removing it with an extraction tool should be all you need. Try tapping/knocking on the bolt / block where it's stuck while it soaks and while you try to extract it.

I'm not sure where it's stuck, but I assume that too much localized heat on your block could be a bad thing...

I had the same problem with mine. I never had any luck and I just used the engine as a core for an H22A. If you get the bolts out, great. If not, don't sell your problem to someone else. Unless of course you're telling them why youre selling it.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

had this problem with a badly overheated f22. i ended up using a die grinder and cutting a slot through the head. you need to relieve the pressure underneath head bolt.

when i did that to mine, it actually popped.

^ done that for a fly wheel bolt lol worked nicely.

idk if this would work but maybe you can cut some of the head off two or three sides of the bolt and try using a different socket?

and make sure the drill bit your using is for metal and while your drilling make sure its got oil on it, that would keep it cool and possibly from breaking it.

i use an electrical impact hammer now, makes it so much easier!!

              good luck man.
