Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Have an old RS*R system and love it. 5+ years old, and well over 120K on it. Still as nice as the day I installed it.

It is very quiet, more than the WS2 I think. I have a Magnaflow Cat and an auto, so under certain conditions it is a little farty sounding compared to some others. I don't really consider it farty though because it is still so quiet. I guarantee that any exhaust on these is gonna sound a little farty with an auto. RS*Rs sound by far the best with manuals. IMO.

I dont know too much about the Apex WS2, but i do know the RS*R ExMag. My friend has it on his GSR swap civic. His is very quiet, but with a nice tone. You cant even tell his car is running at idle. Even under full throttle acceleration it is still pretty quiet, but louder than stock. It sounds very good. Go to http://www.rs-r.com/products/exhaust/exmag.php It says the muffler is offered in 3 different types, im not sure which type my friend has. It also says that the system is stainless steel. The only thing i dont like about the RS*R is the black coating on the muffler and piping, id rather have polished. I dont know much about the WS2, but it does look good. Hope this helps you a little in your decision.

i had the ws1 back when my car was an auto and it sounded great. none of that raspy(farty) sound at all. even when i ran with a straightpipe it still sounded good. you wont be disappointed with it. although i like a little volume from my exhaust... from what i hear, the exmag is probably a little too tame for me.

Like I said the RS*R isn't farty at all, when compared to 99.9% of the exhausts you hear on Hondas. It might be considered a bit raspy, under some conditions, but it is still so quiet, that you can't tell unless you are right on top of the car. Keep in mind too, that my definition of raspy includes pretty much everything that isn't a muscle car with Flowmasters, so I consider some things raspy that others don't.

I've never heard a WS2, but every exhaust I've heard (pretty much every other brand you can think of) on an auto Accord I consider to be raspy/farty. It's all relative I guess.

I just put on a WS2 on my H22 accord... It is SOO quiet! When I bought the car it had some cheap weld on muffler on the stock pipes which was too loud and annying. I was goin through ebay a few weeks back and found some guy selling one new in box(WS2), I ended up getting it for $300!

It not really noticable at all in the car, which is nice for my car being my daily driver (talons the race car) but once in vtec its noticable. I got to listen tonight to it being driven (me outside) its not bad, noticable that the car has an exhaust, not annoying or raspy or anything bad. I do also have a DC header on the car. Overall I am very happy with it, but the engine / intake is far louder. One last note... it sits low, I need to get some better rubber hangers i think, mine are stretched and old but then again the car is slammed.

I'm thinking of getting a new exhaust also. Can someone post pics of the Apex WS2 installed on a CB7, and pics of the RS*R on a CB7? Thanks
