OK...
so i've had my intake installed for a year or so... (short ram)
now my question is...
is it better to have That Extra Long Vacuum line Removed and Capped off? or should it stay connected to the lil black box thing?, or should it be some how directly lined to the intake? i'm debating....
i'm not talking about the short one, i'm talking about the Long one. (the short one i have attached to the intake) , and of course the thick one is going to the valve cover. but this long one is bugging me.
when i plug-up the long vaccum hose the car does sound different... but i dunno if that's a "better" different or what. there definintely is suction coming from that long hose also.
as well... it says in the "cold air intake diy" to just Cap it off... but i would wonder why we would do that? shouldn't air be going into it? and what does that lil black air box do that is connected to it?
someone lemme know which way i should do it.
