Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

OBX LSD - want more info

I have just been notified by someone that OBX makes a limited slip differential now. They do not have an application for a 90-93 Accord yet, but nonetheless they are coming out with a H22 application soon. Anyhow, I am interested in getting as much information regarding this product as possible. Anyone that has information like tear-down diagrams of this product, a photo of it's internals, maximum torque rating specifications, etc I am interested. Please post back here with info or email me at aranafrancisco@hotmail.com

I am familiar with limited slip differential designs, I do not need a lecture on how they work or remarks that OBX products suck, etc. I simply want posts or emails with information on this.

    Thank you in advance.

hey cisco, i was in the market for an lsd last year, and the cheapest i found was 900...so i did more research and found a phantom grip for our accords...they max at like 700 hp and torque and were when i got it like $400 (with ur all motor it would work just fine!). I have had absolutely no problems with it since i had it in...and it works amazing here in maine in the winter. I didnt even break it in right, well i did a 45 second burn out (WITH BOTH TIRES!!!) out in the street infront of my house, and even with all the abuse i throw at it i have no problems...if you are set on getting a lsd then by all means, but if you dont wanna shell out that much cash then give phantom grip a call.

Thanks for the info, but I do not like the phantom grip design and if the OBX LSD is a torque sensing type differential similar to the Quaife and of good quality, it would obviously be a more affordable option. This is why I am interested in researching more info on the particular LSD.

Any info or links, etc anyone???

2point6 seems to have something to say towards the end...I still haven't heard any real unfortunate experiences that didn't have to do with installation and axles getting stuck in the tranny.
