Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    K24 retainer update

So if the spring fits, the k24 retainer looks way lighter than the f22. i have measurements and weight but ill need to measure a f22 retainer and compare.
    I <3 G60.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

Any benefit to using the K24 spring and retainer? Pricing/stronger?

Last I looked the spring free length between the B/H/K were significantly shorter than the OE F22. Are you just talking about the retainers or the whole assembly?

I can weigh stock steel JDM K20A single spring retainers if you're interested I can get you the coil free length too.

just the retainer...it's a lot lighter. i was tempted on swapping a customer's retainers out with my f22 ones

good alternative for those who dont want to run titanium. titanium is good for performance but ive seen them fail from people who dont constantly check the condition.

Fred: there's no point on a k20 since those are harder to find. K24 heads are plentiful and i know for a fact that they are lighter and thinner.

Pretty neat stuff you've figured out. So basically both intake and exhaust retainers from any k24 head will fit into out F22A heads? Interesting...

oh, so it only saves 2 grams
                  9.7 vs 11.3grams

it'll work with the f22 spring.
