Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Cam suggestions?

Before i was set on the Bisi level 2, but now I am debating getting the three. Its a whopping $600 cam :|, but after seeing 2point6's build when he used it. it seems promising.

Other than the occasional autocross (nothing serious just good fun with good people) and maybe a trip to the strip just to see, this is pretty much a street car through and through. My concern was that the stage 3 would not make adequate power lower in the RPM, but it looks to have plenty of usable power.

Should i have any concerns running this cam in a street car that will get driven often? Cam wear etc? Iv called bisi plenty of times but i seem to get the same sap over in technical who doesnt know anything and just takes my number down and then calls me back with an answer to a question i never asked

$600 for one cam? You sure you are looking at the right price? Last time I checked, it was around 250.

thats for the cams UP to a level 3. Level 3 and up are hardwelds and they add material to the cam instead of doing a re-grind.

          build plan

I dont know your build plan, but if you read Cisco's thread you should know that one of the concerns he has is not running enough compression for his stage 3. So if you are looming to run it be sure you know what it requires.

Talk to bisi, but remember, he is crazy, just look at the spring rates he suggests for some of his hardcore cams.

Also talk to Cisco or others running his cams. I would most definitely stick with bisi for an f22 cam, but unless you are hardcore building the engine, I think it might be a bit much to go with a lvl 3.

Ahh, this i was not aware of, but i was concerned. Im going to be around 12.4. Its not hardcore... i was pretty sure it was way too big, but cisco's build did shoe it did very well down low as well. Ahh well, too much money anyways...
