Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    msd or ngk

    Just wondering which are better?
Ngk spark plug wires or MSD Spark plug wires

Im doing a tune up really soon, and Im wondering which are better

    Thanks in advance

Major debate on MANY forums. Both are quality wires, but NGK is usually the choice of Honda owners

This is covered many times . NGK all the way. It's probably the most recommended on most Japanese cars. I know my Subie loves it !

I had iridium plugs on my H22. Make sure the "gap" is correct too, some plugs come pre-gapped, some don't.

I've seen tests where MSD fell short. NGK, or better yet, Sumitomo.

From the research that I read, the NGK are better. The reason is that unlike most current, the power traviling though the sparkplug wires doesn't flow straight through. It jumps from one winding to the next, the farther away those windings the more energy gets used. This is just what I have read. My experiance with both brands is that they are both quality products. I have Accell wires on one car, NGK on another and then my friends has MSD. They have all lasted and still produce good results.

I've been runnin NGK ever since my H22 went into my accord. Haven't had any problems w/ them so I can't really say anything about MSD
