Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    how much would you pay for a f22a head from the junkyard? or how much have you paid for a head from a jy? and i dont mean rebuild. i mean straight off the block into your 'shopping cart.'

      ah. they wanted to charge me 220 for a rebuilt one that they had to get from NC. i was like just take one off the block and give it to me. im getting a head from the yard because i want to rebuild a head myself. idiots.

        I never heard of a junkyard reselling a rebuilt head, I wouldn't trust it for 2 miles. It's at the junkyard for a reason

            some junkyards will just paint the outside silver. you have to watch out for that.

            i paid 75 bucks for mine and it was in cherry condition. i inspected the entire thing when i pulled it off though. they are selling rebuilt f22 heads for about 200 dollars on ebay.

              My JY ask's what part you want. then they go out and pull it off for you(no one is allowed in the yard except for employees) then you pay for it. so i doubt they would spray it silver.

              i saw the rebuilt ones on ebay. i want one for a summer project. it would be my first rebuild.
