Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    a1-a6 cam difference.

i was just wondering if any one can tell me how much of a difference u will get performance wise from replacing the a1 cam with the a6 cam or is it even worth it?

youll be better off swapping manifolds. I have a manifold for sale! and a high performance Throttle body.

Or sending your cam to Delta for a performance regrind...best mod for the buck, with a DSM turbo kit in a convincing second...I've raced a couple of A1 cars and while the A6 is a little faster, an A1 with a good cam will prob. be much faster than either.

          It is...

I used to love to put bolt on A6 EX guys in their place when they would talk shit about how the LX and DX is so weak...

          for Delta...

The A6 vs the A1 cam is not going to give you a noticeable increase... you'd get more from a header...

i wouldnt say greatly better but it has dual runners and will get more air into the engine so it is better and will give you better throttle response and maybe 2-3 hp

                            Hey whats up guys,
I recently got a used cam off of ebay and sent it to delta for a 272 regrind. I sent them the cam with a money order for around $90 (its $85 + the cost of shipping it back) and they sent it back in a week. I also bought an aem camgear to go with it but the honda shop over here is having problems with the car after the install. I don't know if the problems are connected with the cam or just bad luck with other parts. Hopefully it will be finished soon, because I can't wait any longer. Its been two long weeks without my car.

oh yeah, here the link to their website and phone but you have to call them to make an order. Their online form doesn't work.
