Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    test pipe

i love kentucky becuase we dont have emmisions test here. so i can do whatever i want to do... i am planning out my exhuast for my car right now and was wondering if a testpipe would be alright... i have heard that accords seals dont handle to good without backpressure and can blow... is this true. would a ebay flow through cat be better or no difference.. or did the person i was talking to have no clue what they were talking about i think he said the valve seals...i have a f22a6

I had a gutted cat and didnt like it...I just recently replaced it with a magnaflow/carsound high-flow cat. It felt like it had a tad more torque in the top end, but the sound that it made wasnt worth the gains to me. If your thinking of getting one, I'll sell mine cheap.

to be ohnest i have a DC sport 4-2-1 header, test pipe, and APEX`i WS exhaust and i like it..... it sounds unique but still a manageable sound, it does have a little rasp, but then again i have an auto and like minimal funds right now, so whatever power i can gain no matter what the sound helps...
