Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

he was boosting 14.7psi or 1 bar i believe and just off the top of my head i think his name was boost92 or somethin. He was using the S-AFC hack and completely retarded his timing at the dizzy.

ok i have ran into a little problem...im not sure what size charge pipe to use. i want to boost about 10 psi. my throttle body is almost 3 inches wide. the "charge pipes" i have are only 2 inches. would it hurt if i modified my intercooler and change my pipes to 3 inch? im also going to change to a t3t4 turbo. what should the ar #'s be to have the right set up?

3" charge pipes is a little over kill...you could just get a 2" to 3" adapter for the throttle body.

and im not saying 3" charge pipes will hurt any..but they definitly arnt necessary

my intercooler pipes goes as follows

2" off the turbo to the intercooler.
2.5" cold air intake for the cold side.

by far the best intercooler for the price. my starion FMIC didnt even compair. not only does it look a lot better, but its great quality and cools the air great as well. its really not as big as it looks, boost drop is definitly not a problem. its only 5" tall believe it or not

cant go wrong for $155 shipped. and he has newer bigger ones now too.

that's a good deal. for just a 5 inch tall intercooler it fills that bumper well. is it true you a mrx do ecu's? what would you charge me to do a chipped ecu. ready to basically plug and play. i know i still have to fine tune it. im going to have my hondata/uberdata man finish things up.

im gonna charge the same as MRX so that there is no competition or anything...that would be:
$60 if you supply the ECU
$60 + the price of an ECU if you want me to buy it for you.

that includes all the chipping parts needed, and the basemap burnt and loaded

i think you would be fine with any of them..any t3/t4 trim is gonna give you great results. i want to upgrade my turbo soon too..im thinking 16g though. just because it bolts all up

1 bar is 14.5 psi.. 14.7 is a perfectly stoichiometric mixture of air and fuel.

i've heard of both 14.5 and 14.7 being 1bar. I know Greddy or somethin called 1bar = 14.5 but other companies and even text books were calling it 14.7...so idunno...i just pick and choose depending on how i feel that particular day lol

                              http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/21_587.html says:

In imperial units the Standard Atmospheric Pressure is 14.696 psi.

                              101.3 kPa = 1 atm = 14.696 psi = 760 mmHg = 760 torr

                              but
                              http://www.hawleys.com.au/page9.htm & http://www.finicompressors.com/Engli...onversione.htm says:

                              1bar = 14.5psi

                              yea...figure that one out lol
