The weak point of the H trannys is 4th gear and secon gear.... The Y4s like to break either 2 or 4, but the F4 Ive only broke fourth... You like to see pics???

I gotta question kinda I've gotta h22 with f22 trans and was wondering if ne of you guys with this setup were having a prob with you clutch springs getting loose and rattling while driving? This is the second clutch thats done it wondering if its cheap clutches or the way I drive it? Also what do you guys shift/rev to?

answered your own question. I dont have an H22, but I abuse my tranny alot, and the clutch is fine. and the shifting thing just matters on your engine's powerband, so I wouldnt really follow in others footsteps.

if your going to buy aftermarket parts, they are their to make your car faster, not slower.
thus of the high final drive. your never going to put it in 5th gear at the track. its always 1-4. so making the final drive higher, and shorting the lower gear ratio, you could accel alot faster and get your times down. but for something like that, on the street it will suck.miss my turbo cb7

FYI im in fifth on 26s going through the lights. limiter is at 9k... OBVIOULY a non oem box... BUt it IS the OEM Final. Fifth gear is 1.03 to one... JUst about the same as an OEM fourth... If it werent for the increase in tire circumference and the higher limiter id run out of gear with this box. Ive run lots of trannys in it and it goes through fifth like a GSR goes through 2nd on a 100 shot. NOTABLY quicker than any stock cogged H tranny Ive run in it.

The retarded part is that I run OEM VTEC lude axles inn the CD5 and have YET to break one... LOL.... WSe hybrided some for sropouts car as he was snapping cb7 axcles left and right and he has yet to break one since...
I was nervous and launching like a girl. Car ran 11.80 at 132 on only 14 PSI 1st, 17 second 20 3rd and about 26 PSI in fourth and fifth. My antilag was WAY too agressive and it just blew the tires away at the line... Those times were with shitty 2.2 60s...... Like I said not even on max boost OR slicks...
