Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    H22 Trans Issues (Auto)

Ok I have asked many here but no real answer. I have a F22B DOHC with a H22 tranny.

The problem I have is that everytime I turn left or right the trans rev's untill I go staright again.

it shifts fine when driving with no rev's at all.

Sometime out of the blue the D4 light comes blinking and shifts funny.

Im using the stock TCU and stock axels if that matters?

    Trans revs? What?

This doesn't make sense. Engine revs, trans just sends the power to the wheels.

Every single F and H tranny does that. Nobody can figure out why. Mine old tranny did it, my JDM tranny does it, and every auto Accord I have ever owned does it. I would just get used to it because it will never go away until you actually get it rebuilt. I have been 75k miles on my JDM tranny and its still holding up pretty good. I actually cant seem to kill it. I wonder how long its going to last with the nitrous mwahahaha

Or you can do like some of the retards down here, give the tranny a compression test!

the filter in the transmission is plasitic or a metal style, o ringed to the valve body.

cracked filter housing or a leak at the o ring can cause this. try adding a extra 1/2 litre and see if you get a difference.

if you can do a line pressure test. i don't know where the port is off the top of my head but testing ususally starts there. if you can get a guage and line if you don't have access to one try to make one. 0- 350 psi is what mine is. the line pressurre should stay steady, now try to make it screw up and watch the line pressure and see if it changes during the malfunction. pull the transmission code at that point( or check it). these test will point you in the dirrection of the malfunction
            good luck

too bad you don't live close by, I've got a perfect H22 trans w/ everything complete. Torque converter, P0F TCM, shift solenoids. Its got 50k on it shifted fine when i took it off back in August 09'. Lemme know if you still need that TCM you PM'd me about.

have you tried taking your TCM apart to look at the insides for any burnt looking resistors/capacitors? That could sometimes cause some issues shifting.
