Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    JG Throttle Body?

Anyone put one on? Big difference, where do you feel the difference? Discuss with as much description and details as possible.

You're going to feel a difference in the top end. I wouldn't really recommend going with JG. Even though a TB isn't a big deal, I have just heard way too much bad shit about them. There are way cheaper places to get it done anyways.

I'm just saying that there are cheaper places to get a bored throttle body. As far as gains go it is a pretty good investment.

Ughh... read man. I said that you would probably be alright getting one from them besides the fact that it's overpriced. The problem with JG is their service and the kind of job they do. Go do some reading up on any of the Honda sites about people that have had work done by JG. You can even look on here for .. damn I forget his exact name... something like 93accord something but he had work done by them recently on his engine and it blew after about a month when he wasn't even racing. I'm sure they don't always do horrible work, but I have just heard too much shit from too many people. I would never, ever have any work done by JG.

well, its not like you need a 74mm or anything. understand that motors run better off of velocity, NOT VOLUME. the WAY the Air and Fuel enter your motor is best for it, NOT the amount. think about it like this, put a straw in your mouth and blow through it; then, take a toilet paper roll tube and blow through it. which one has more velocity? this one would be better for a motor.
