Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Will H22 F22 main studs interchange ???

Will H22 main studs interchange with F22 main studs ? I can't find any F22A1 ARP main studs and was wondering if the H22A1 mains studs would work for the F22A1

Yes they interchange. Use h23a1 head studs for the F22a also.

ARP sells a main and head stud kit for the H23 application that I know works with F22ax. I have both sets installed on my motor, I know it works.

It comes with moly lube that you put on the threads, screw studs in my hand with allen wrench snug. Then, make sure you torque each stud 4 times! Use the torque recommended with the provided paperwork that is for moly lube.

Torque to spec, then back off about 90 deg, then torque again. Do this a total of 4 times.

I did this and marked a reference line from stud to nut to engine block/head for each torque, you will notice you will get increased rotation with each torque. On the 4th time, it ended up at the same spot as 3rd torque, so you know it has reached proper torque. THIS IS KEY!!
