Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Plus its made from pure stainless steel and has a lifetime manufacturers defect warranty, unlike the ceramic DC which I heard cracks.

As long as the welds are good, it would be kinda hard to screw up an intake mainfold. But at the same time, I wonder how much R and D was involved with it. Velocity and such can make a huge difference in an intake manifold. Plus, that thing looks hella long, im not sure that would clear the firewall.

thats a replica of the Venom intake manifold. i've seen the OBX IM up front, and i have to admit, it looked pretty good.

I'm glad I started this thread!

It's gonna be funny... the CB7 crowd will be the first to bring respect to OBX. Maybe.

Hell, if I can get cams and an LSD from them, I can spend less than $1000 on cams, LSD, clutch, and flywheel

the only thing to worry about the cams is that they are made of cast , watsup with that? well it can cause wear in the rocker arms, anyway i bought a pair of stage1's so wish me luck

they cost $370 including s/h to PR via USPS

in a thread in H-T a guy with a lude had them installed a month or so ago and he claimed to rev the hell out of em, he feel the car a lot better with good mid-range and everything is cool !!!!! this guy was the one that convince me I'm waiting for the pressure plate to finally balance my internals then build my engine and start it at last!!!

about the LSD its the same as Quaiffe but with other material , i havent see one for accs or ludes but if u r going n/a it suppose to handle it extremely well as i see

                            kaoticaccord,
We could really use your input! As an authorized dealer, you have the inside scoop on stuff that we don't know about.

If there is an OBX LSD made for the H/F series trannies, I'd buy it. Hell, something similar to a quaife for a little more than a Phantom Grip? Boo ya! I'll upgrade to a quaife eventually, but I don't have the money now. I need a new clutch (and a lightened flywheel will come with that). I have to save money where I can! If I can get decent stuff that will last at least a little while, I'd rather do it for less. I can always sell the OBX off when I upgrade, if it lasts...

in someones previous post they posted how the cams were cast.....correct. the same method Skunk2 USED to use. problem is, they break easier than newer technology cams. basically, OBX is using a method that a good company used to use until the company found out that they were no good. and, i dont know about many of you but, i'd rather spend the extra money, to get cams that are better quality and from a company that has actually tested the parts. just my opinion!!

Very true... Cast cams aren't all that great. They are probably as good as a regrind, which isn't terrible... Still, billet cams are much better. Do we have confirmation on the cams being cast though? I don't doubt that they are, but I'd like to know for sure before deeming them crap.
