funny i run across this kinda thread... couple weeks ago at da races here in tampa, i WITNESSED a damn DC teggy with one of these in it!!! simply a jaw-dropping thing to see.

but i can tell you right now... CRZY amounts of work are involved, and it's DEFINITELY not your average joe's kinda project.

yea i saw him 2 sum kid the saw alone cost $15,000 i honestly wasnt that surprise like the sr20 came fwd turbo its took forever 2 do it it was at the shop for like 2years.... from what i heard everything was custom motor mounts cv joints wiring harness the turbo manifold was custom made the intake manifold was custom thats what was interest the fact that he is pushing like 326whp that blew me away not the fact that it fit in a dc

And I didnt mean that the sr20 is not a good motor, im sure it definately is, and Im also sure that the 350z's motor is wicked too, just my personal preference of the nissan motor's is the rb26.

its a pointless swap unless its for the shock value of it. why not go with a 4G63 over a SR20?

Bluetop would be fun. And for those that dunno the bluetop is a potent turbo motor. 4g63 is a good motor and has been done in civics. If you have patience you can swap the bluetop into your car just like people putting 4g63 engines in the civics. 4g63 is also a powerful motor aside from the crank walk issues. Other than that it is a good strong motor that can make power.
