Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Fidanza Flywheels?

Does anyone have one of these installed on their car? Are these safe to put in? They wont mess anything up or make it uncomfortable to drive?
You have been defeated by a car with child locks, how embarassing...

I have a Fidanza 8#'er...it takes a couple drives to get used to driving, but its def. worth it. After a day of driving, you'll be used to it. The topend power it creates is incredible, but the low end kinda drags...but with my Exedy Clutch and the flywheel my car hooks up like NO other car I've ever drove.

If your gonna get one, you might as well get a good clutch too.

Just make sure when you are racing or whatever to match your shifts as usual. It takes a lil gettin used to and a little bit of revving to get you off the line

          I love my Fidanza...

If I could have only one mod...this would be it...

Once you drive with it, you see that any misgivings you might have had were overexaggerated by miles...

          Kick ass mod...Do it...

Regular Exedy as in OEM replacement? Anyway, it won't be as smooth because the engine's revs will drop faster when shifting. Engagement may also suffer. Not sure though. I do know I really like my CM stage 1.

yeah its OEM replacement but they say it grips like 10% better so i dunno... i had a exedy racing clutch in my last accord and i didnt like it at all... too rough.

10% is nothing. I kinda like the hard pedal the CM gives me. Lets you know that fvcker is grabbing hard

i have the Fidanza flywheel on mine. dropped from 19lbs. to 8lbs. VERY NICE!!!! very good for revmatching and what not. jsut have to bump to gas pedal lightly to get it up a little higher when engaging but, other than that.....awesome part. i just had my stock disk wrapped in kevlar and kept the stock pressure plate. that way, no harsh engagement but it is still sticking just fine.
