Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    hp and tq guessimating!

    ok i have a f22a1 with Short ram intake, ebay 4-2-1 header, NO cat, NO resonator, Magnaflow muffler.. 2.25in exhaust, B&M fpr turned up 8-10 psi over stock and ZEX 55 shot

    I came up with:
    169whp
    177wtq

    using 15% drivetrain loss

    Intake 3whp 3wtq
    full exhuast non-restrictive 8whp 7wtq
    fpr 2whp 1tq
    ZEX 55 shot 50whp 50 wtq

    am i close to what you guys think?

    let me know.

    The only real way to tell bro is to go to a dyno and make sure its tuned. Theres only so much you can do fornow but if you want the cheap way out and dont really care about real time accuracy get a gtech pro . lol Thats all i can say

      even if that G-tech pro is wrong...if you ran that using a complete stock setup...got a 0-60 mph or 1/4 time of it and noted the enviromental conditions...then ran your modified setup in similar conditions...you'd have a baseline to go off of and at least know how much improvement it made timewise and/or hp & tq wise if it calculates that too.

        damn thats a pretty good guestimate....

        i did the guestimate with ur set up and came up with 169whp.

        yeah people say the best way to truely find out is dyno but we all kno we cant (well i cant) afford that everytime we do a mod or cant do it period.
        i do the guestimate all the time, specially when im looking into buying a performance mod, i kno im not the only one.
        so we all kno we've done the guestimate thing and kno one here can say they havent........lol

        i can gain about...hm.....5hp from this, so that will put me at about....

          haha, i'm always guessing power gains from different motors and what not.. i figure a 2.2 will respond to modifications a lot better than my civic with a D16a6 1.6.. but i was just seeing what some other people thought like maybe someone has a ZEX 55 shot on here and dynoed it.. that would give me a better rough guess. well thanks man.. later!

            its just a rough guess...

            also i have another question for the accord people with the f22a1 or f22a6.. are your cars faster from a dead stop or roll on of 40 - 45mph? to me it seems like the accord launches pretty well..

              its the torque that makes us a bit faster off the line most of the time. And i was under the impression our cars were built in ohio SteveB. Were those guesstimates done with the 55 shot adding 55hp? Cause the Nitrous companies are giving u the flywheel HP not the WHP...anyways happy guessing
