cad file of the iab plate??

does anyone have a cad file or way to make one of the basic iab plate to make a custom spacer? i have access to a cnc but no real way to accurately make the cad file.

go to best buy and buy a basic cad program, you can design it with all the proper specs and have them translate it into their program.

i have the cad program but need it extremely accurate. the curves in the secondaries i think are beyond my 3rd grader ability w/ cad. i plan on making multiple ones if turns out well.

see if you can find the manual online for "Rhino" they have a step by step guide on designing/getting the hang of cad programs. I designed and machined a head for a briggs and stratton engine in high school. But seriously the manual for the Rhino program is great. keep at it anyways because cad is fun

I designed a full head, i did it as a cad project for class but I was in a small gas engines class too so I had it machined for 60 bucks

Couple of each? I would say Aluminum, it might be a tad more expensive but everything else on the motor is aluminum anyways.

i dont think anyone would have it unless they took their own measurements and drew one up on cad. thats a option you could take if you really wanted to make your own plate.

Why dont you diy it? Get a steel plate and trace the gasket on there then go at it. No one is just gonna give you a "CAD" design for their spacer. Thats like giving someone there money maker for free. If you ask Bisi, Blacktrax or whatever they will look at you like wtf. Its like going to a party full or rich people and begging for money...Your not gonna get anything. The only way your gonna get anything is making one yourself. Asking for one will net you nothing. Another thing is competition they dont need people taking their product and copying then reselling. Its just like what China does with most of the manufacturers.

im not asking bisi or any manufacturer for a CAD, and i seriously didn't think any one even had one pre-made. sry if u worded it wrong for u but i hate jb weld and i prefer not to have that on or in my engine. what if one of those "welds" just popped out in one of the holes filled on the inside of the intake and was sucked down in a cyl? when u have access to a machine that can make it, then why not?

now u did give me a good idea w/ the gasket. never thought to use it as a refence in to go by when designing it. hmm

bandsaw and a drill press is all you need.

it is how i make all my block off plates.
