Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

The launch control in Crome/uberdata/Hondata/neptune all cut fuel.

Yep. There are a few systems that cut ignition which is something I prefer over fuel anyday.

I think when you buy the two step box it just plugs right into the msd digital box. not 100% sure though

why would you buy an engine control unit that does this? I see no purpose, enlighten me?

So that when you launch in a race/or at the track you can keep the gas planted to the floor while you feather the clutch.... One less thing to worry about I guess.

are you sure? I could swear that I read on pgmfi that crome adds fuel and retards ignition. I don't see how cutting the fuel would be very safe on some of the builds that run crome, lean conditions + boost just dosen't sound good to me. also I believe that I read that crome is not a 2 step, there is another name for the launch control limiter crome uses. Im going to try to find that info again.

That is boost builder/launch, not launch control.

                              Two different things.
