So I was wondering if anyone had a cutout of the transmission with all the gears and so on kinda meshed out so I can follow it real quick (M2s4 h23). I am repairing it tomorrow. I recently broke my driver side axle and I was wondering if it was normal for the speedo to go up with the tach when it broke (spindle side is spinnin in place, axle is still connected to intermediate shaft). I found that interesting. But wasnt sure. I want to make sure I didnt break anything else in the trans since when it broke i wasnt paying attention and revved up to 8200 ish rpm. Plus I want to see what the countershaft meshes with to get a speed readout.

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Thanks. I remember hearing a while back if your vss is going up with your revs your diff is probably fucked. If thats the case this is gonna suck doing a trans in my parking lot. But not sure seems like it meshes with the diff. Gonna have to check this tomorrow....Damn this isnt gonna be pretty. I guess ill just change the axle tomorrow and see what that nets me. All else fails the diff went out on me. If thats the case ill just pull the trans, and prob put another in I dunno. This is suck.
