Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

All h/f water pipes should interchange into the blocks. The differences lie in the shape/length.

Just go to a junk yard and snag the water pipe from an a6.

but the A6 pipe doesn't have the nipple (hehe nipple ) for the coolant to feed back in to the system. so ether way your going to have to weld something.

The A6 DID come with an oil cooler, The block pictured above is a A1 block or similar. There is a fitting that screws onto the block that the coolant returns to its fits into that port to the left of the oil filter on the block.

well..... this should be rapped up friday. i took a f22a waterpipe up to a shop around the corner from me, and it's going to coast me $40.00 to get the nipple from the h23 pipe welded on the the f pipe.

once i get that, and a few other items. i'm hoping to start putting the eng together. i'll post up a few pic

not really sure. the heads been milled for trueness and i'm taking out the middle layer of the head gasket.

the stock comp for the f22b is 9.2, and the f23a1 is 9.3....so
