    Upgraded Alternator?

I have a friend and he is putting in a pretty decent sized system in his truck (wattage wise). He is upgrading his alternator from 105A to 135A and was asking if he should upgrade the wiring. I told him I was unsure, and that if you upgrade any of the grounds that will be all ready be beneficial, but didnt know if he had to upgrade the output back to the battery. I am an electrician, and for resedential/commerial when you upsize breakers and such, and amp ratings have changed the wire size must also up itself. So my first thought to the answer would be YES. But i wanted to make sure first, since this is still Car Audio. Thanks guys.

Yeah, he's definitely going to want to upgrade. My brother just dropped a 200A alternator in his van and switched out to 0 gauge under the hood, and 1/0 to his distribution block.
