Get another one. If it's warped, hose it down and put on on some pavement for a few hours. If possible, put some weight on it while it dries. Flattens it out real quick.
There's a piece of thin particle board that floats over the spare tire. It has fasteners for carpet that is attatched to the back of the seat and extends throughout the entire base of the trunk, and over the particle board. You need to have a spare tire in the trunk to support the particle board, or it will warp under weight.
I just cut a new one out of ply wood, then cut it in half and put hinges on it to swing up for the spare tire. Now I can actually put stuff in my trunk while having a solid ground for it.

damn i need to do that too. I have the stock warped wood piece, but i have a OEM wheel in the trunk so it doesnt fit. I had cut out a plywood piece, but it wobbles and my speaker box slides off everytime into the corner of the trunk. Maybe i should redo mine....
What size plywood board should I buy and what pattern do I cut out to cover the 15" OEM wheel and allow a flate surface for my speaker box???
