ok i got this kenwood head unit and it has 14 wires. but the honda harnes has only 13 wtf should i do with the one that don't have the wire.
is an orange that is missing from the harnes

the orange/white and the orange wire both serve as dimmers but if your kenwood harness has both those wires connect the solid orange one to your harness. the orange/white is used on newer honda harness.
ummm your honda harness should only have an orange...but connect the orange wire from the honda to the orange/white of the kenwood.
it doesn't actually matter the main wires are red - 12v ignition wire, yellow - 12v power, black - ground. those are the only ones i had hooked up. but you have 14 wires so im assuming you have an internal amp. so you'd need all the corresponding speaker wires.
i am just installing the kenwood radio. and i just bought a new wire harnes. but i wont' put the kenwood to work till a get a code to open it up. it needs a universal code which is introducet by the remote.
since u know a lot about radios do u know where i can get a code to open the kenwood radio.. kenwood asked for alot of money for it.

Hey dude your in luck, I do car audio for a lviing, dont worry about that orange wire, it is the illumination wire, it will affect nothing, your headunit simply doesnt have that feature. Just tape up the end and leave it alone, good luck
