Anyways, to the OP. Couldn't you just wire that up as your radio antenna and take the other one off, shave the hole. Would seem like a clean look to me.

not a car phone... Part of an old cell phone "booster" Its not in the glass. There is a piece glued/ taped to the inside and one to the outside.. The glass itself is not drilled or anything. It will come off easy with no evidence of it being there.
