    blowing fuses.

I have side markers and a rear fog and "day running lights" in my highs which are h3 bulbs. the 15 amp fuse i am supposed to use keeps blowin after about 5 seconds. I switched to a thirty and the rear tail light which i spliced the rear fog into smoked jus a little bit. how can i fix this. I washed my engine bay yesterday and it was workin fine then it jus cut off and started blowing fuses.

I know you fixed it and all but, NEVER NEVER NEVER go up in fuse size. Always go down like from 15 amp to 10 amp etc. etc. If you go up you run a greater risk of burning out more than a fuse, more like a whole wiring harness or even worse your fuse pannel. Believe me... chasing burnt up wires is no fun cause usually you'll find that you caused damage to other systems.
