Rear fog help

I have a rear fog that I have the switch for but I don't have the switch harness. My question is can I just run the positive and negative to my fog light switch and just tap it there? I don't want them to come on when my lights come on I want to be able to turn it on and off. Would I need a relay or anything like that? I don't really know if it would work thats why i want to know thanks alot.

Honestly, I think your best bet would be to use an aftermarket fog harness and run it to a switch of your choice.

I wouldn't want to put both the front and rear fogs on the same circuit.

if you have a switch that is just for your rear fog then yes, but make sure you run an inline fuse prob like a 15amp or a relay

ey mang, just go ahead and tap into the ground of the fog switch, but get a relay for the positive.
