i have an alpine media xpander cda-7995 and was wondering if there was some way to hook my ipod up to this by maybe fabbing up and auxiliary port or something of the like

instead of using a cable, u can also use a thingy (i dont know what its called) that is synced with the HU on the same frequency
just set the frequency of ur iPOD, sync it with ur HU and voila, ur done. and its wireless too

how does that alpine ipod cable work?
does it plug into the headphone jack? because I just got a headphone jacl adapter for my phone. I want to use it as an ipod and I can just use that cable. I have an alpine 9847 from 2005.1993 Honda Accord EX-R Coupe Granada Black Pearl
