can i hook my ipod up?

i have an alpine media xpander cda-7995 and was wondering if there was some way to hook my ipod up to this by maybe fabbing up and auxiliary port or something of the like

instead of using a cable, u can also use a thingy (i dont know what its called) that is synced with the HU on the same frequency

just set the frequency of ur iPOD, sync it with ur HU and voila, ur done. and its wireless too

yea have one and they suck really bad... static unless you find a frequency that is completely dead and then you have to angle the daggum ipod to keep the signal strong enough

yeah, dats what its called

set it at max frequency (105++) or as i do it, at 88.0

i have no problems with static and i even put my iPod in my bag or my sis holds it with her at the back

which one do you have... i have the one that apple sells that is just the fm transmitter and have lots of problems tho for some reason this car gets ridiculously good reception

i bought it at a PC Fair here. only costs me about 25 USD. its made in china, and its not a reputable brand. but it works fine.

i can even get it to work with my HiFi at home

Not true. Depends on which transmitter you have. I have Monster transmitters in all my cars and i LOVE them. I also have extras for sale. I also have ExtremeMac transmitters that are awesome...

how does that alpine ipod cable work?

does it plug into the headphone jack? because I just got a headphone jacl adapter for my phone. I want to use it as an ipod and I can just use that cable. I have an alpine 9847 from 2005.
