OK,I called my local honda dealer today and they told me my cb7 didnt come with a factory security system but i know it did. Do any body know how i can get a remote for it plz help if u can thanxs.

do anybody?!?!?!!?

your car probably came with automatic locks... which may or may not have had remote keyless entry. remote keyless entry does not an alarm make... i.e. remote keyless entry is not an alarm.

there's an off chance that the previous owner, or perhaps the dealership (if your family is the original owner) may have installed an alarm which was not made by honda.

at the end of the day, i doubt you have an alarm, and if so, you've obviously lost/misplaced the remote for quite a while in that you had to call the dealer to ask. if i were you, i'd just get a new alarm.

ok my friends car got the same thing but hers came with remote start and ive got the little blk box sitting in front of me and it says honda security system on it and on the back its got 5 switchs on the back 1 says mode man. r auto the 2nd says sens. canel on r off the 3rd says duration 60sec r 30sec the 4th says exit delay 20 sec r 10sec and the 5th says entry delay 25 sec r 15 sec u tell me what i got plz

Try eBay for the remote. I've seen a few there. You could also contact Honda of America, provide them with the part number for the alarm and they maybe able to provide you with the part number for the individual remote transmitter so you can order one from your local dealer.

Is the EX the only one that has it, or could it have been an option on the LX also?
