    aiwa headunit is skipping

i have an aiwa cdc x227 unit in my old accord that i no longer use because of an accident. i recently got my hands on a 91 lx and i should have it soon. im goin to put the aiwa into the car asap, but the main concern i have is that CD's skip so easily when im riding over bumps in the road.. ive had the unit for maybe 2 years now, and it has gotten worse since the first year. sometimes during the cold season also, CD's get ejected extremely slow.. anybody have experience wit this unit?

i bet it dont have anti skip stuff...i know thats common some time ago, now its all a breeze.

id say hit up a new deck...
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

    Retro!

Yeah, even if you did find out there was something wrong with your head and found out what it was I'm not sure you could fix it. Most CD Players today all have anti-skip, even though its not really advertised on the side, I'd just try to find a good deal on a new one. I got a great JVC MP3 one for $120 but that might be more then you want to spend, check eBay for ones, you can probably get one for $20-$40 if you look hard enough. JVC, Pioneer are 2 good brands that will have low prices on them.
