Pioneer 3 Way Speakers

well since i blew my polk speakers somehow, i got some pioneer TS-A1672R speakers for the front.... havent put them in yet but curious if anyone has them or has heard anything about them?

all i want is for these to be clear, all the bass from the two kickers i need good clearness up front!

i have the same pair of speakers in my rear deck, and pioneer two-ways in the front.

they're hooked up straight to my head unit - also a pioneer, via my car's stock wiring.

while they hit highs stronger than the components, as expected, they tend to distort at higher volumes and they're really, REALLY bass-heavy. they've often been mistaken for a sub.

sorry if this sounds opposite of what you were expexting out of them...

they're not top of the line by any means, but at least the highs that come out of them are clean and clear until they're distorted at high volume.

remember though, i'm not running mine through an amp, so i don't know how that will influence their output.

i really love your car! it's so clean and your wheels match well with it's stance/suspension.

Well I got them for free from my dad so I'm not really complaining, bass is always good I love bass lol...

and thanks, if you're referring to the wheels in my sig I sold those last year and I'm now on prelude sawblades and a little bit lower
