So a friend of mine has a 92-93 coupe with a bose double din OEM radio in it. my question is, is there anything special that needs to be done to put a deck in this car, i.e. factory amp, rewire etc. i install mobile electronics at best buy, so i've done alot of cars, but never an accord with bose. i know a cadillac with bose for instance is a nightmare usually, so i'm hoping this isn't the same.

iirc you dont have to bypass the amp, but if you need to it is under the rear deckFA1

well actually it sorta helps you out. or atleast for me it did,
because rather then having to run wires to the trunk for your aftermarket speaker amp . the wires already there for you just find out whats what on the harness that plug into the factory amp in the trunk
unplug them all,and its the harness with brown and white stripes, grey and blue stripe combo's... theres a diagram somewhere on the forum, but it takes no time to figure out.
