Well, I haven't heard to many people talk about them on this board, but I am kind of partial to JL Audio, based on reputation. Just wondering what others think. Here is what I am going with for my '92. Planning on all JL Audio speakers and Amps just to keep things matched up.
Alpine 9830 headunit
JL Audio CVS310RG-W6v2 sub box (http://www.jlaudio.com/enclosures/CVS310RGW6v2.html) - 3 10"s
JL Audio seperates in front doors
JL Audio 6 1/2" in rear deck
JL Audio 500/1 amp for subs
JL Audio 300/4 for rest
Plan on using the subwoofer output controls in the headunit to use as crossover and sub gain control. Will be able to keep balance and fade controls with rest of speakers and not need a seperate crossover.
I am more in to sound quality than loudness or "lowness", but this should suffice if I want to get loud. Should also provide a nice listening environment while commuting every day. And, yes, that box will fit under the rear deck right up against the back seat with about 3-4" of clearance between the top of the box and bottom of the deck. Amps will be mounted on the seat side of the box with the subs facing the rear of the car.
Just thought I would share and try to get some input on the JL Audio line of speakers and Amps.
Thanks.
